Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
At martinvera.com.uy I take care of the data you share with me. Here's what information is collected, what I use it for and how you can ask me to delete it, in line with Uruguay's Personal Data Protection Law No. 18,331.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Martín Vera, a freelance web developer based in Montevideo, Uruguay. For any question about your data, write to me from the contact page.
What data I collect
Only what you send me through the contact form: name, email, subject and message. The site also records anonymous visit statistics (page views, country, device type and loading speed) that don't identify you.
What I use it for
I use the form data only to answer your enquiry and, if we work together, to coordinate the project. I don't sell or share it, and I won't send you advertising. Statistics help me understand which content is useful and improve the site's speed.
Who processes it
The form is sent through Web3Forms, which forwards the message to my email. The site is hosted on Vercel, which also measures visits (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) without using cookies. These services may process data outside Uruguay, with their own security measures.
Cookies
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. It only stores your light or dark mode preference in your browser, and it never leaves your device.
How long I keep it
Contact messages are kept in my email for as long as needed to answer you or for the ongoing project. Visit statistics are anonymous and aggregated.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, update or delete your data. Write to me from the contact page and I'll answer as soon as possible. If you believe your rights weren't respected, you can file a complaint with Uruguay's data protection authority (URCDP).
Changes to this policy
If the way I handle your data changes, I'll update this page and the date above.
